Cleaner air less allergies
"We live in the Ohio Valley of Kentucky where allergies rank in the top ten of the country every year. We also have five furry pets. We bought the 75i to help with these things and it cleaned our air from very poor to excellent in about an hour and the odor from pets etc had gone down significantly in a few hours in turbo. Bought the ultimate odor filter bc it said it is approved for odors and allergies along with many other benefits over the basic filter. We love it and it acts as an air quality monitor in your home which the 45i and smaller models besides the 25i don’t provide."

"I love my Alen 75i. I have an Australian Shepherd, I sweep & electric floor vacuum daily - but my dog's hair floats in the air like gently falling mist. I vacuum & clean the filter weekly because it catches so much fluff! At least once a year (it seems) we have poor air quality from wild fire smoke - Windows open - Sensor Light goes magenta almost instantly. Windows Closed, we get to the blues & greens very quickly. It's quiet enough, until turbo, which is noticeable, but I've gotten used to it. Worth it when the freezer warehouse burned down and toxic smoke settled outside for days & days. Improved the air in my whole home
"I have asthma, so I searched a long time to find the right product that would work to improve the air in my home. My first purchase was the 75i, and it worked so well downstairs that I purchased smaller units for upstairs. I probably overdid it purchasing two smaller additional units, but I wanted the comfort of knowing smaller spaces in the entire upstairs were covered. I have not been disappointed with Alen. When I leave home and come back after a few days, I walk into my home, and it smells so fresh. Almost like new. My asthma has improved as well. I made a good decision to purchased Alen, and I highly recommend this brand. In fact, I've purchased three units for my daughter and her family. That's six units total! HVAC systems often use MERV filters, which is the acronym for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value, a measure of a filter's ability to capture larger particles between 0.3 & 10 microns. MERV ratings primarily pertain to home AC/Furnace systems. The Alen BreatheSmart 75i uses True HEPA (H13) filters, which capture 99.99% of airborne particles as small as 0.1 microns in size (including aerosolized viruses). HEPA stands for High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filter. HEPA air filters are composed of fibrous or porous materials that remove solid particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria from the air.
How and when should I use the ionizer mode on my BreatheSmart 75i? Is the ozone produced by the ionizer dangerous? What are the possible side affects?
Alen air purifiers utilize ozone-safe ionizers that are California Air Resources Board-certified to produce ozone emission concentrations of less than 0.050 parts per million.
