Beware Alen using new non-replaceable pre-filter

"Recent replacement filter purchased from the Alen store on Amazon showed up with a new pre-filter design of only some kind of mesh screen. Nothing about it is really a pre-filter except maybe for very large particles. Also, there is no way to remove it and put in a new pre-filter. Which leads to what do you do with all the pre-filters previously bought since they don't work on this new design? Who made this decision and thought it would be good when they are still selling the replaceable pre-filters?"

Hi, Do I need a cover for the filter or just insert the filter
The 45i filters come with a black-mesh prefilter that is attached with Velcro. The prefilters are removable and replaceable, but should stay on the filter whenever the filter is in use.
