"The previous design with a removable pre-filter was great at trapping large dust particles which significantly extends the life of the main filter. The new thin screen pre-filter doesn't trap dust particles, it only traps bigger items like pet hair. See below for pictures after 2-3 weeks of old pre-filter vs new pre-filter. I expect more stages of filtering, not less in a premium air filter. Seems like a tactic to sell more filters. You can do better Alen."
