    Covered by our 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, if your air purifier has any manufacturer or workmanship defects, we will provide you with a new air purifier of the same model or comparable one if we no longer produce your unit.

    Under our Forever Guarantee, if your air purifier has issues that we can not address with troubleshooting and you’ve provided proof of Alen® filter replacements, we will provide you with a new air purifier of the same model or comparable one if we no longer produce your unit.

  • Third Year

    Under our Forever Guarantee, if your air purifier has issues that we can not address with troubleshooting and you’ve provided proof of Alen® filter replacements, we will provide you with a like-new, refurbished air purifier of the same model or comparable one if we no longer produce your unit.

Why require Alen® filter replacements?

We realize there are non-Alen options on the market that claim to be compatible with our units. However, we've done extensive testing on these knock-offs that further validate our filters' efficacy.

Pairing your Alen® air purifier with an Alen® filter not only ensures the appropriate operation of your machine to extend its life as long as possible, it also ensures that you're getting your money's worth from your air purifier. The years of engineering and development we put into our filters was done with great care so that our products do what we say they do - purify your air so that you can breathe easier.

Non-Alen "Fresh" filters may be using recycled carbon.

We tested each non-Alen brand filter twice because of the shockingly low percentage of adsorbtion of carbon tetrachloride (CTC) in the first test.

The higher the CTC adsorption, the better it’s working to adsorb harmful substances in your air, so the low CTC results of these other filters are a clear indicator that you’re not getting the most out of your Alen® air purifier when pairing it with a knock-off brand.

The finer details

  • Filters should be replaced on a regular schedule as suggested for filter and air purifier type according to the user manual and/or as suggested by the air purifier's replacement indicator
  • Alen® warranties are non-transferrable. Third-party purchases must be verified by the authorized retailer.
  • At this time, Alen® ships products and honors its warranty to residents of the Continental US, Hawaii, Alaska, and US Territories of Puerto Rico.
  • Alen® does not warranty previously opened or damaged units.

To qualify, you’ll need to: 

  • Register your purifier’s serial number to your account on Alen.com 
  • Have an active filter subscription or proof of a filter purchase within the last 12 months (15 months for the 75i) 

If you purchased your filter from Alen.com, we can look up your order history using your order number or the email address associated with the purchase. If purchased elsewhere, you’ll need to provide a valid receipt or invoice. 

Every purifier has a filter button on the control panel with a corresponding light that can be monitored to determine how much life is left in the filter. When the filter light turns red, it’s time to change the filter. For specific models, filter life can also be monitored in the Alen® Air app. 

  • 35i: 6–9 months 
  • 45i / FLEX: 9–12 months 
  • 75i: 12–15 months 

1. Go to Alen.com and sign into your account. (You can create a free account if you don’t already have one.) 

2. From your account dashboard, navigate to the “Registrations” page. 

3. Fill out the required fields (Model, Serial Number, Purchase Place, and Purchase Date). 

4. Click Submit.

After the two-year mark, we continue to stand by our products and our Forever Guarantee by offering a free reconditioned unit. These units are fully tested, sanitized, and restored to like-new condition.
